AmRay’s Thyroid Collar A is ideal for healthcare professionals and patients. Thyroid collars are commonly used by hospitals, private practices, dental and radiologic clinics. This collar offers a high neckline and wipeable interior ensuring this product is easily maintained in busy medical environments. This thyroid collar is available in two separate closures - Magnetic and Velcro. The magnetic closure is ideal for easy disinfection to prevent bacterial spread, while the Velcro closure is suitable for healthcare professionals who work with magnetically sensitive environments. 

The Thyroid Collar A with magnetic closure can be easily wiped over and therefore properly disinfected which will help to eliminate forms of bacteria, reduce cross contamination and the spread of bacteria. In comparison, the Thyroid Collar A with Velcro is often difficult to clean which can leave fluff or dirt behind.

However, magnetic thyroid collars cannot be used with magnetically sensitive media such as mechanical watches, heart pacemakers, CRT monitors, credit cards and other magnetically stored media.
