We are excited to present the TAG Heuer Professional 1000, reference 980.113D, dating from the 1990s. This iconic model is widely known among collectors as the “Night Diver.” It is Powered by a Swiss quartz movement with 7 jewels, it features a central second hand, stop-second function, and a date indicator.
The watch is housed in a 37.5mm stainless steel case with a rotating bezel and boasts water resistance up to 200 meters (660 feet/20 ATM). It has a screw-down case back, and an original signed screw-down crown for added durability.
The white luminous dial ensures excellent legibility in low-light conditions, earning it its famous nickname. It features black hour markers, a black minute/second track, and black luminescent hands. A date window sits at 3 o’clock, with the TAG HEUER logo at the top and “Professional 200 Meters” at the bottom.
Fitted with the original TAG HEUER jubilee-style bracelet, it comfortably fits wrists up to 7” (17.8 cm). It comes in an original Tag Heuer box.
The watch is in very good condition and comes with a fresh battery!

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have concerning size.
We prefer to take photographs outdoors when the weather allows. However, when shooting indoors, please note that we use lightboxes equipped with 360 LED bulbs, which can magnify any flaws that may be less noticeable to the naked eye. That said, we never use Photoshop to alter our images or remove blemishes. While we may adjust the lighting as needed, what you see is what you get, and we take pride in that.
